At Fazenda Kavili, the mountain lies at the heart of the irrigation system: water flowing naturally down from the heights of Ebanga is guided towards the crops and coffee trees.
Collected upstream, it is channelled through a network of pipes to the cultivated areas and coffee plantations. The natural slope of the terrain allows the water to be distributed by gravity, without relying on fossil-fuel-powered pumps.
This simple system, well adapted to the landscape, helps reduce energy consumption while ensuring regular irrigation for the crops. It reflects an agricultural approach that makes careful use of locally available resources while respecting the environment.
At Fazenda Kavili, the mountain is not merely the setting for the project: it plays a direct role in its balance.
